The first Canterbury Jewellers' Festival will be run from Saturday May 18th through to Monday May 27th at the Beaney House of Art and Knowledge.

Marking the longstanding craft of jewellery making in the city four of
our outstanding contemporary designer/makers will be
showcasing their skills: Ortwin Thyssen, Justin Richardson, Luke
Goldsmith & Polly Gasston. Each jeweller will highlight a particular
piece or aspect of their craftsmanship and there will be daily 2 hour
demonstrations of what they do and how they do it, with many skills
and techniques unchanged for millennia.
